Five steps, and the exact point coverage begins
No surprises in the process either. Here is every stage of a NoticeTMA review, what we need from you at each one, and the single moment where a conversation turns into real coverage.
From first message to issued policy
You send the declarations pages
One page per policy you currently hold. If you have nothing at all, that is fine, we start from the risk instead: what you own, who drives, what you would have to replace.
We read it before we speak to you
Limits, deductibles, endorsements and exclusions get marked up in advance, so the session is a conversation about decisions rather than us reading aloud for the first time.
The working session
Thirty to sixty minutes, in person or by phone. We go through every marked line, explain what it means on a claim, and agree the limits you actually want to carry.
Quotes at matching limits
We shop the agreed limits across the carriers we can place with and lay the options beside your current policy in the same units. You get the comparison in writing.
Application, underwriting, issue
If you choose to move, we prepare and submit the application. The carrier underwrites it. Coverage begins when the carrier issues the policy with an effective date, not before.
What to have ready
The review goes faster and lands harder when four things are to hand. First, the declarations page for each policy you hold, which is usually the first or second page of the packet the carrier mailed you. Second, your renewal dates, because timing a change badly can cost you a cancellation fee or a gap.
Third, anything that has changed since the policy was written: a new driver, a remodel, a roof replacement, a business run from the house, a vehicle bought or sold, a tenant moved in. These are the details that quietly invalidate assumptions the original policy was rated on.
Fourth, if you are booking claim support, bring the claim number and every letter the adjuster has sent, including the estimate. We would rather read the carrier's own words than a summary of them.

Process questions
Is anything binding before the carrier issues?
No. A quote, an application and a conversation with us are all steps toward coverage. Coverage itself starts only when a carrier issues the policy and confirms the effective date in writing.
How long does the whole process take?
A household review is usually a single session plus a day or two for quotes. Commercial risks and life policies take longer because underwriting asks for more.
Can I stop at any point?
Yes. Nothing is submitted without your explicit approval, and you can end the process after the review with the marked up summary and no obligation.
